This past fall, my church was partnering with Compassion International and the Willow Creek Association to visit a "partner" church in Ethiopia. They invited the churches to ask their videographers to come along. I submitted that I would like to go, and was accepted. This is a highlight video from my vacation back in February. It took a long time to edit because I wanted to do it in HD and I had other projects on my drives I had to delete before I had enough space to do this one.This is a 4:3 cropped version and it had to be less than 100 MB and less than 10 MBto fit on Youtube.

This week, Katie and I adopted a kitten from C.A.R.E. Her name is Mia. She is a kind of Siamese mix, we're not quite sure. She and Maxwell are learning to get along. She keeps trying to rub against him, but he's not so sure. He watches her almost constantly. I'm sure they'll be friends in no time.

Day 3 & 4 of The Arts Conference were mostly "electives" or what they call "breakouts." Katie and I were able to choose which classes we wanted to take. Katie took several "Video Director" classes. The First Day at the Arts Conference was great. The theme this year is "collaboration."
